FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Sirius Exploration Plc (“Sirius Exploration” or the “Company”)
Issue of Shares
Further to the announcement made on 19 June 2008 regarding Sirius Exploration’s option to purchase up to 25% of the equity of certain tungsten production assets in Jiangxi Province and Guangxi, the Company has today issued 1,200,000 new ordinary shares at 1.5p per share to CIC Mining Resources in consideration for the purchase option.
The 1,200,000 new ordinary shares, which will represent 1.33 per cent of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company (90,435,973 ordinary shares), will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares in the Company.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings in the new ordinary shares are expected to commence on 3 July 2008.

EU enlargement progress reports - key findings
EU Enlargement has helped to transform Central and Eastern Europe into modern, well-functioning democracies. More recently, it has inspired far-reaching reforms in Turkey, Croatia and the Western Balkans. All European citizens benefit from having neighbours that are stable democracies and prosperous market economies. Enlargement is a carefully managed process which helps the transformation of the countries involved, extending peace, stability, prosperity, democracy, human rights and the rule of law across Europe. The European Union has undergone a number of enlargements since its creation. More and more countries have joined the first six Member States. The EU has 25 members today and will possibly soon count 27 Member States.
